ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

You must be on the General or Supervised Division of the Irish Medical Council register and hold one of the following qualifications:

  • Membership of the Faculty of Paediatrics, RCPI
  • Fellowship of the Faculty of Paediatrics, RCPI
  • Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI)
  • Membership of the Royal College of Physicians, UK
  • Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health (MRCPCH)
  • Diploma in Child Health, RCPI/RCSI (DCH)
  • Diploma in Paediatrics (RCPI)
  • I am working in the area of Paediatrics

If you hold any one of the above:

Apply to enrol on the Faculty of Paediatrics General Division Professional Competence Scheme


If you hold Specialist Registration in Paediatrics or Paediatric Cardiology:

Apply to enrol on the Faculty of Paediatrics Specialist Division Professional Competence Scheme 


If you do not hold any of the above, enrol on the Institute of Medicine General Division Scheme

Where can I find the date I paid my Professional Competence Fee?
