I live overseas, do I need to enrol on a Professional Competence Scheme?

Modified on Wed, 12 Mar, 2025 at 2:52 PM

If you are practicing overseas (more than 30 days per year), you must complete an Overseas Declaration Form and return it to pc@mcirl.ie with evidence which demonstrates that you are maintaining professional competence abroad.

If you live overseas and practice in Ireland for any 30 days or more during the Professional Competence Year (May to April) then you MUST be enrolled on a Professional Competence Scheme
